Nice form fitting case. Fits the iPhone 5 exactly. Cutout at the bottom makes room for mount and speakers. Volume buttons and power button works fantastic. Case is shiny black and a matte grey. Flexible but very sturdy. Can feel the quality.

I didn’t expect much when I ordered the Cimo S-Line Back Flexible TPU case for my new black iPhone 5, but I was pleasantly surprised. It fits snugly, but is flexible enough to get on and off quickly. The slight wraparound front edges of the case add extra protection for the screen, especially in the event of a drop or fall. The sides have serrated-like grips, which are comfortable, but really provide a excellent grip. Feels excellent and secure in my hand, yet still capable of gliding right into my pocket. You can’t go incorrect with this one.

Tip for making the buttons simpler to push, October 19, 2012

I’ve had a couple of suitcases like this where the volume and power buttons were hard to push. One thing that worked for me: I took an Exacto knife (long, very narrow tipped blade)and carefully cut through the buttons’ indentations about halfway around. That allows the buttons to flex more when you push them, making it much simpler to operate the controls. Because the cut is so thin, you can’t even see it, and because no plastic is really removed, it still seals just fine. The movement of pressing a button barely moves the button, so wear isn’t a problem. I’ve had a case still screening no problems from doing this after two years of use; I was going to toss it because the buttons were so hard to use, but it’s quite simple now. (Now that I reckon about it, I may just have poked slight holes around the round volume buttons, since it’s hard to cut in a circle with a flat blade.) Anyway, thought this might be worth considering for some of you!
