I am still searching for the perfect case for my new ipad (3rd generation). What I’m looking for is a purple rotating case where the ipad snaps in instead of slides in with a material window.

The first thing that drew me to this one, was the color. However, the actual color is not this jewel-toned deep purple, but the same lighter colored purple that is shown in a lot of other cases. My ipad snaps in securely which is good, and the sleep/wake function seems to me working ok- like my previous case it works about 98% of the time. If I happen to see the screen glow and I push the case closed and it will turn off. The elastic strap feels pretty flimsy and I would give it about a 6 month life span. The biggest problem with this case over the last one is that the groves don’t hold the ipad in the lowest propped position in either direction, which is unfortunately how I use it when I’m typing. I do like the cut out in the back… Overall, I’ll likely use this one until I find another one I like- but it was only $9 and free shipping…the search continues…

But I can say that the experience with the seller is positive. The case arrived 2 weeks earlier than estimated.
