Ok, so here goes my review. I run 5 Ipads in an office setting, and I have bought numerous styluses. Of all the styluses bought this one is by far the best. I reckon that any of the styluses with a rubber tip are junk. The rubber breaks and renders the stylus useless. I stumbled upon this stylus on Amazon and bought one. The price was fantastic, but that made me cautious about how excellent it could be. The other ones I bought were much more expensive. When this stylus arrived, I gave it to the person, who has been known to kill a stylus very instant. After a couple of weeks, I questioned him what he thought of it? I was told that the felt tip was the best he had ever used, the stylus was much better to work with and the Ipad was much more responsive to it. The tip is virtually indestructible, and the twist pen is excellent in a pinch. With his seal of approval, I just ordered 4 more. Fantastic job Trent, you really nailed it.

9/28/12: I just ordered 4 more of these for spares. These are still the best stylus that I have ever bought. I just like them and so does the staff.

Fantastic *Small* Stylus, May 2, 2012

The micro-knit tip on this stylus is unquestionably the way to go. It slides over the screen so much more smoothly than any of the foam rubber tipped styluses. I have four foam tip styluses, but they are going to only be for back-up in case I loose my micro-knit stylus.

But despite the fantastic tip, I can not recommend the IMP62B because of the very small length. I am a guy with honestly large hands and the top of the stylus barely reached the web between my thumb and index finger. It needs to be at smallest amount 2 inches longer. I voted for it along to my wife who has very small hands. And even then it was borderline too small for her. I ordered the Boxwave micro-knit tipped stylus and am much more pleased with the longer length of the Boxwave.

Quality Pen Look, Feel, and Consequence, August 3, 2012

The New Trent stylus is much better quality stylus than many out there.

Outside: The metal is solid and feels like you’re really holding something. It’s well-constructed, no gaps in the metal, the paint doesn’t wear off in a day, and shape is stylish and attractive.

Inside: The retracting spring works smoothly with no failure.

Nib: The nib is softer than it looks in the pictures. I was a bit worried when I bought it that it would really scratch the surface because of the metallic look. But no dread! It’s a soft microfiber that glides safely and gently across the surface.

I previously bought a stylus through The Friendly Swede and it was really junky looking and feeling. The end was rubber and wide. It looked cheap and felt even of poorer quality. I’m really glad I made this buy.

Slim and frivolous stylus, September 2, 2011

This review is from: BoxWave Slimline Capacitive Stylus for Apple iPad 3, new iPad (3rd Generation), iPad 2, iPad 1, and Amazon Kindle Fire (Crimson Red) (Electronics)

I ordered this stylus on August 19, 2011 well aware that I would probably forget I had even ordered it by the time the estimated shipping date of September 1-6 rolled around. To my surprise, it arrived in the mail less than a week later along with another BoxWave stylus I had ordered. Maybe I’m just lucky because I bought two uncommon models at the same time, though.

Now, about this stylus. The Slimline is, in fact, quite slim; slim enough that if you have larger hands or thick fingers it may be uncomfortable for you to write with it. It is slightly slimmer than a No. 2 pencil, mostly due to the lack of edges. This model is also extremely frivolous, but not quite what I would call balanced; most of what consequence it seems, in my estimation, to be focused slightly above the tip. Width wise, The body is roughly 1/4 inch wide, with the tip life slightly smaller. It also comes with a detachable clip with a tight woven yarn body (roughly 1.5 inches long) and a plastic head, which fits securely in the earphone jack of my iPad2. This is removable and re-attachable, by way of a small, thin metal key ring attached to the top of the stylus.

Performance wise, this is fine stylus. The slimness of this model allows for much more precise prose than numerous others I’ve used, and it is a relief to have the ability to really see what I’m prose as I go. The material used for the tip is the same that is used for other BoxWave styluses from what I can tell, so there should be no worries or fears as to how smoothly it will glide across the surface of no matter what you’re using it on or how precise it is despite life half the width of the standard model. The only real negative that I can see in this stylus is one that can be remedied easily; the clip that secures the stylus to the earphone jack can be a bit noisy if you write with it quickly, but that can easily be solved by removing it and reattaching it later.

I like the elongated shape that makes it feel just like a pen in your hand. Works very well with my iPad 2.

Picked this up for use with my iPad2 and it works fantastic. Like the thinner feel than the other Styluses on the market that feel like a thick magic marker.
