    – display looks just as clear and crisp with the protector on
    - no difference in touch sensitivity or feel
    - provides confidence that I’m not scratching the screen when playing my games.

    However,
    - it seems to have a bit more glare than without the protector
    - also it loves finger prints very very much

    also,
    Installation:
I did the installation at home, which I regret. As mentioned by the other reviewer, dust shows up pretty quickly on the under (sticky) side of the sheet. The longer you take, the more dust that shows up. So my suggestion is that you do it quick, and do it in a relatively clean room. The stickers do work, but the time it takes to grab the sticker, lift the sheet, find the dust, just gives other dust particles more time to stick to other sections of the sheet.
I should have done this at the office, where the room air is cleaned by the air filters on the a/c units.
Took my 30 minutes to finish installing it. No bubbles, just 20 or so stray dust strands in a patch on one side that I didn’t notice during the install. Can’t really see them unless the screen’s off.
And it would be better if the stickers they provided to remove dust was a bit larger.

Yes, would have preferred if it came with an additional sheet. But I’d probably mess that up too unless I had a proper clean room to do the install.

But I’m happy with the money spent.
Update: it loves finger prints, but SGP makes a different cover that’s slightly more finger print resistant.

SGP was one of the top screen protectors mentioned on message boards about screen protectors that don’t take away from the retina display. I was nervous installing it, but it went on easily with only a few tiny flecks of dust that were very easy to remove with the stickers provided. It doesn’t take away from the retina display at all and I love it. I had a an anti-glare/reduced finger print, bubble free protector (from a different company) installed before the SGP, but it made the display grainy. Now, with the SGP Ultra Crystal, my coworkers and friends can’t even tell I have a protector on my screen. It does leave finger prints, but that isn’t something I care about as you can’t see your prints when the screen is on. The protector also works well with my stylus that I use to take notes during meetings.

One tip to make installation easier: Before peeling off the backing, line up the protector with the home button then use some tape on each side of the home button (taping the protector to the iPad). This will hold the protector in place as you peel the back off and it sticks to the screen, ensuring your protector is aligned correctly.

Saw some reviews in a web site where this screen protector was highly rated. Bought two, one for my wife, one for me. Read somewhere else that the magic trick for a successful application was in the bathroom full of steam after a shower. So, as soon as my daughter finished draining the hot water tank. I went in the bathroom and did the application. This was great. Not a single dust particle remained in the room, and there were hardly any bubbles. I can’t say how easy this screen is to apply in a dry dusty room, but in a steam filled bathroom, this cover went on like magic! It has been a few months now, and it still looks good, so five stars.
